From my interview with Tudor’s former-assistant Airi Hynninen in the summer 1995 issue of Ballet Review:<\/p>\n
\u201cThe body initiates everything,\u201d she said about Tudor\u2019s choreography.\u00a0 \u201cThe arm gestures, the legs.\u00a0 Tudor is not an extremity choreographer.\u00a0 He even said once that people can live without arms and legs, but they cannot live without a center.\u201d<\/p>\n
