Rob Briscoe’s documentary on the Bankhead family premieres June 9 in Jasper, Alabama, which was their home town for a long time. Once it’s dark out–or once darkness descends, I should say in tribute to the family’s gift for florid rhetoric and oratory–it will be screened at the outdoor amphitheater at the Bankhead House and Heritage Center, built originally by Congressman Will Bankhead and his second wife Florence.<\/p>\n
