if it goes along with the Republicans’ plans to cut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security in order to pay for more tax cuts for the very wealthy.
Already the GOP is trying its usual mind fuck on the Dems, framing its betrayal of millions of low-income Americans as a show of courage. That’show they frame attacking the most vulnerable Americans. It’s traitorous. It’s as morally grotesque as Trump’s clown makeup is a visual affront that denotes his psychological disturbance.
Trump’s cabinet picks represent his declaration of war against America.
The more anyone truckles to Trump, the more sadistic and abusive will be his treatment of that person.
was parade him in chains though the streets in a Roman-style triuimph.
President Biden did the right thing.
Patel is so dangerous, so subversive, so unfit that MAGA enforcement is now threatening Senate Republicans who vote against him.
The great economist Joseph Stieglitz–yes, an expert–writes in the Guardian:
“Americans, it seems, have lost trust in their institutions and the belief that government will deliver for them. It is the predictable result of 45 years of Republican (and neoliberal Democratic) campaigning, starting with Ronald Reagan’s famous quip that “the nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.’”
The result is today’s end game.
Ramiswamy is first generation. And yet these two leeches are trying to incinerate our country that has given them and their families so much.
What the fuck gives?
It’s motiveless malignity.
I had to laugh when Forbes published its latest puff piece on Dimon and he gassed off about what a tremedous responsiblity he feels to deliver for his grandchildrens’ future.
Then why is he one of the world’s largest carbon-investors?
I mean we could go on and on about this man who did a great deal to destroy Obama’s economic policy–and thus help usher in Trump. But let’s just say we are not surprised that he’s been playing both sides against the middle and across the aisle, “privaely” supporting Harris but whispering sweet nothings into Trump’s ear for months. And, of course, he infamously declared himself a Trump fanboy eaerlier in the year at Davos.
Dimon is very, very concerned about reducing government spending.
We know what that means: another billionaire demanding that the country’s most vulnerable suffer additional abuse.
Liam Archacki at the The Daily Beast details Dimon’s infinite culpabilities.
Lynda Williams at Common Dreams exposes it.
