Responding to the treasonous behavior of Senate Judiciary Chair Charles Grassley, ranking member Dianne Feinstein goes ahead on her own and releases the GPS Fusion transcript. Grassley has been suppressing it because it gives the lie to Grassley and the GOP’s preposterous accusations against truth-telling Christopher Steele, who is being persecuted by Sens. Grassley and Graham because he tried to defend the national security interests of the United States.
Hopefully, Feinstein’s move indicates an understanding by the Democrats that the GOP is completely out of control, is dismantling American democracy, and must be contained if the U.S. is going to survive.
Seth Abramson notes that Grassley began the GPS interview by noting that it was “‘unclassified,’ meaning that no Senator could credibly claim that release of the transcript would be a threat to intelligence sources or methods.”
Therefore, Grassley has absolutely no legal grounds to suppress the transcript.
But he did.
