And she’s not playing defensive. Slime Sen. Tom Cotton has already tried to tar here with accusations of patriotism-shortfall, and this is the same Tom Cotton who has enabled every attempt by Trump and the GOP to destroy the lives of Americans and risk national security seven days ’till Sunday.
McCaskill’s asserting her positions is very anomalous behavior for a red-state Democrat, but that’s how you win elections.
And in this case, that’s how you stand up for decency.
