About a municipal government that keeps pursuing the developers’ agenda at the expense of the city’s and keeps happily scamming the public about it?
Vote them out. Picket every day at the offices of those still serving their terms.
This was on my mind Wednesday night at the Municipal Building, when I attended a public meeting on the “review” of zoning regulations for Soho and Noho.
The usual suspects were there, with big fat condescending smiles on their faces.
It was supposed to start at 6:00 p.m., started almost thirty minutes later, and I had to leave at 7:00 pm. I told the Soho artist resident sitting next to me that I had to go.
“I don’t blame you,” she said.
