At the rate that Trump is now going, and with Democratic resistance as timid and anemic as it is, we can in fact predict that Trump will refuse to hold elections next year.
And the GOP, which has now prostrated itself before Herr Trump, won’t lift a finger to ensure that democracy continues in this country.
