Seems that Grandpa Joe was part of a “Spring Carnival/8 Big Acts 8/All Headliners in which his man-woman act, Low and Johnson, was featured at the Garden theater in Trenton, New Jersey.
Of all the things he didn’t keep, Grandpa somehow retained a little stack of these handbills from this one vaudeville engagement.
Week of Feb. 9 of some year early in the 1920s.
“Hoey & Lee” are at the very top of the bill, and Low & Johnson come third.
And at the very bottom, but in capital letters is “WALTON ? ? ? ”
??? indeed.
