Wanted to find out exactly how intimately I am connected to Broadway legend!
Mean and legendary producer Abraham Erlanger was my great-grandfather Samuel’s first cousin. I would imagine that my grandfather Joseph, of Low & Johnson and then Joe Low productions fame, first broke into vaudeville by calling up Erlanger, his first cousin once removed.
Just realized I explained this back in 2011–I guess needed a refresher course!
Occasioned by looking through a book of genealogical documents my father started compiling in 1959.
