CITY HALL PUTS OUT A TRAVESTY ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS

In their frenzied zeal to turn Union Square South into even more of an El Dorado-for-developers than it has already become, City Hall put out an analysis that is so flawed, derelict, and duplicitous that it should be scrapped and a new one begun from scratch.

Andrew Berman and the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation survey the sham survey:

Huge swaths of historic buildings ignored altogether, an 1840s Greek revival townhouse declared of no architectural significance in order to let the developers demolish it for an office building —

I mean, it’s an outrage.
