TED RALL IS A TRUE INDEPENDENT VOICE

which is why he was blackballed by, among other outlets, the New York Times and the Washington Post in 2004, who refused to continue publishing his cartoons when he wouldn’t pull his punches about George W. Bush.

“Major news outlets and book reviewers ignored my books,” he writes at Common Dreams. “Editors refused to hire me. Producers wouldn’t book me. Anyone opposed to the Afghanistan war was censored from U.S. corporate media.”

And now that the Washington Post has done a superb job of revealing how the Pentagon defrauded us for two decades at the cost of thousands of lives and trillions of dollars, Rall isn once again refusing to pull his punches: “It’s nice to see the media finally shame these scumbags and their government handlers. But they ought to save a big portion of the blame for themselves.”
