EITHER:
the people who have brought the Democratic Party to this point will succeed in ramming through a Biden nomination,
and he will lose, as the Democratic base once more refuses to come out and vote
PARTICULARLY
if Biden goes ahead and chooses a Republican running mate
OR
Biden will somehow win and start cutting Social Security etc.
thus ensuring a GOP victory in 2024
OR
the Democratic establishment will relinquish its death grip and allow a future for the party.
Let us recall that by the end of Obama’s second term, the Democrats had lost virtually electoral advantage that they had to lose.
And these are the people who think they can continue to steer this party.
