Going through things, found a note from Bob Gottlieb dated November 19, 1981. He had just received a note from Tanaquil: “I really think, as long as I don’t want to have anything to do with a book about me, that it is then silly to turn around and donate photographs–doesn’t make too much sense, does it? Better to be 100% cooperative.”
