Remember how Mick Mulvaney was telling everyone–say, about three months ago–that COVID was a hoax spawned by the Democrats to bring Trump down?
Seems that now that Mulvaney’s kids are having trouble getting test results right away, etc. Mulvaney’s all up in arms, concerned, outraged, about the state of COVID testing in this country
Needless to say, Mulvaney is a particularly flagrant example of the Republicans’ sole concern: their own short-term survival. I say “short-term” because, given their ferocious opposition to environmental regulation, they are ensuring the long-term extinction of everyone.
