As I wrote in Pink many years ago:
“Perhaps true equality of the sexes in Western society will be heralded when men can wear skirts anywhere without stigma attached or eyebrows raised. Male’s apportion of woman’s attire will no longer represent a comic, bizarre, or threatening surrender to a lower caste.”
Truly, the right wing has no answers to any of the issues plaguing society and so they continually drill down into retro trivia and hoary old howls of outrage.
