Given what’s going on in Texas–discriminatory redistricting and voter I.D. here we come–there is no other way to view today’s right-wing Supreme Court majority except as a cell concerned primarily with advancing the interests of the Republican party in this county.
And it wouldn’t have happened if our confederacy-of-wimps Democratic Party had not been unable to sustain filibusters against Alito and Roberts. Perhaps by now, however, the Repubs have taught the Dems something about sustaining filibusters.
