The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center understands that lowering ticket prices is
key to getting people into the theater, now more than ever.
Last Sunday afternoon I went to Alice Tully Hall to hear the Calidore String Quartet playing together with pianist Wu Quian. Prime tix were $20. A complimentary glass of wine after the show was offered.
Needless to say, everyone was happy, including the musicians, who played wonderfully.
