Bill DeBlasio tried to sandbag the perpetually-underfunded Landmarks Preservation Commission; the two LPC Chairwomen he appointed were there to implement his agenda, not act in the best interests of the city. Sarah Carroll, DeBlasio’s second appointee, remains in her position today.

Now Mayor Adams proposes crippling cuts to the LPC as part of his own developer-pleasuring agenda.
