I love Raw Story, but they’d better vet their reporters.
Sky Palma writes that Nathan Wade “has been paid over $600,000 for his work on the case — a rate that reportedly exceeds the usual pay for similar contract work.”
Yes, Palma uses the hedge “reportedly,” but nevertheless:
NO. ABSOLUTELY WRONG.
$250/hr. is peanuts in the legal profession. Wade is a superb prosecutor and Willis and the Fulton County’s DA office got him for a bargain.
As the credibility of the corporate media slides into freefall, we need sources like Raw Story all the more. But quality control is crucial.
