The Times in 2018 decided to deep-six Dr. Bandy Lee, whose “Duty to Warn” campaign was rallying mental health professionals to try to rescue us from Trump contagion–every prediction Dr. Lee made, btw, has been borne out. Instead, the newspaper championed the “Goldwater rule.” (There is of course no actual rule, just the APA’s power play.)
She writes today that “Top-level decisions were made to delete my quotes from at least a dozen New York Times articles, so that none would get out to the public (after the articles were written and submitted, sometimes by top reporters).”
If you have any media savvy at all, you know that this is exactly how the Times and other corporate media outlets operate.
When will the NYT apologize to Dr. Lee for supressing her attempts to prevent America from succumbing to Trump contagion?
