Said mergers are disastrous, of course, for the media landscape and for the American people. And the corporate media’s 24/7 coverage of Trump is, as Obeidealla notes, only going to expedite their demise, as people’s disgust causes them to turn away and tune in to independent and non-traditional media. Nor do the greed-besotted moguls seem to have any comprehension of how savagely Trump’s GOP would treat any news venue that acknowledges the existence of facts.
