He sets the bar so low that he makes them feel good about themselves, even though his rallies started to bore the hell out of them.
MAGA loves Trump because he gives them the license to hate that they prefer to actually doing anything to improve their lives. I no longer read The New York Times, but a friend told me about (yet another) piece they did shoving micropones in front of MAGAs so that we could understand them even better. Except that we already understand them.
One MAGA woman bitched that healthcare was available to immigrants but not to her–she’d never dream apparently of lobbying for universal heatlh care. Easier to punch down. These people are despicable, and they have cooked their own goose (s), because their tenaciously pursued ignorance will make them less able to fend off Trump and the GOP’s assault on them.
