Fresh from his under-the-table deal with Trump, Mayor Adams is embarking on a new round of attempted oversight evisceration. He is convening a Charter Revision Commission to make changes to the NYC constitution, to be voted upon in November. Village Preservation know what he’s up to: “The Mayor has made clear he intends to use this process to make it easier for developers to build without public oversight, review, or approval, and pro-deregulation lobbying groups are joining in the push.”
