The more plants are built, the more the cancer rate will rise from the daily low-level radioactive missions, the more taxpayers will pay for costly overruns and break downs, the more toxic nuclear waste will be produced –waste that stays toxic virtually forever. (One leak could wipe out a city.)
Nuclear power plants provide the fattest argets for terrorism imaginable. The more we invest in nuclear, the move we move away from life-sustaining renewable energy. And the less and less energy independence we will have, as the monopolized utilities centralize control of energy supply.
Nuclear power is the most dangerous energy technology, as well as the most expensive and inefficient.
