Increasingly disturbed Ackman and a clutch of his billionaire buddies are now threatening (promising?) to move to Florida if Andrew Cuomo, the billionaire’s mayoral candidate doesn’t win. NYC taxes on corporations and Wall Street are meager, and that’s all these guys care about when it comes to civic governance. Any request that they contribute their fair share to the city’s coffers is apparently enough to make them consider re-locating. Or say they say. We’ve heard these promises to leave so often and they billionaires almost never fulfill them.
