as Congressman for most of Manhattan discussed some issues that apply specifically to Manhattan and New York City as well as the nation and the world: affordability, inequality, how to counter City Hall-sanctioned massive luxury over-development, the ongoing destruction of the city’s scale, history, and neighborhoods, and the concomitant worsening of the housing crisis.
