They have more enough money in their endowment to survive Trump’s rescinding their research grants. That would be temporary, but the damage to Harvard’s reputation if it bends the knee will be permanent.
Hard to think, however, of a worse possible mediator than completely-out-of-touch billionaire Trump supporter Stephen Schwarzman, who is apparently now acting as point man for Harvard’s negotiations with the Extortionist-in-Chief.
Really, what is the point of educational degrees when ethics, integrity, and emotional intelligence are missing?
