Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were the ones who booby-trapped the last round of negotiations, turning them into a stalking horse for Trumps plan of attack. They’re back. Neither has the slightest interest in peace in the region. Witkoff cares only about making money, and Kushner cares about making money and implementing family friend Netanyahu’s agenda.
Then there’s J.D. “Limburger” vance, who has no diplomatic experience at all and no credibility whatsoever, having gone at least twice to Europe to advocate for authoritarianism.
Incompetence and venality: that’s what these emissaries have to offer.
