She’s someone you’ll want to know about.
She’s just written her first article for Ballet Review, a profile of Kathryn Morgan in the current issue.
Kyra’s mother is Helen Kramer, who danced with Ballet Russe and New York City Ballet—a woman of incredible vitality!
And she had a very interesting Dad whom you’ll know more about when she finishes Red Winter, an historical novel inspired by his life. Set in 1920 in far eastern Siberia, RW relates his family’s struggle to survive when Bolshevik partisans take over their home town of Nikolavek-on-Amur.
In the meantime, Kyra’s new musical, To Dance, about Valery Panov is going to be workshopped this summer at the Santa Fe Musical Theatre Festival (August 2-9).
