It’s not Bernie who’s stepping on her coronation robes–it’s the endless betises committed by her, by the dilapidated, corrupt Democratic establishment.
It’s now clear that there is a very good chance–even a probability, I hate to say–that Trump will defeat her.
She should be offering heartfelt thanks to Bernie for saving her presidential bid to the extent that he has —
by forcing her to espouse policy positions that Americans actually support, positions that will address the needs of more than than the .05%–even when espousing those positions means opposing what she and her husband so recklessly and ruthlessly accomplished 1993-2001. (Note BENE to Hillary: keep your husband out of your administration, if it somehow does happen. We don’t need any more financial deregulation, media consolidation, demonizing of the poor. etc.)
Remember that clown act she was running months ago, promising to accomplish things by finding slivers of agreement with the GOP–Social Security cuts here we come! (as Bill was trying to effect in 1997).
Fortunately she’s canned that approach, for the most part–for now . . . .
But Trump’s likely route to victory nevertheless remains running to the left of her.
