Adam Johnson at Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting examines the terrible, tragic, and often very dogmatic insistence by the liberal commentariat that Hillary was a stronger candidate than Bernie–in spite of every data point showing that she wasn’t.
It was a consummate exercise in mindfuck. As Johnson writes:
“Above all, these concepts were far more about simply asserting ‘truth’ than seeking it, in hopes no one would have the time or capacity to push back. The words chose the meaning, not the other way around, and Clinton was ‘electable’ and ‘vetted’ simply by repetition. . . .
And I still haven’t heard any apologies.
