What we’re really seeing with Gorsuch and the unfolding evidence of Trump’s illegitimacy is a slow-moving coup kicked off in 2010 by John Roberts, perhaps the most activist judge in American history. It all meshes together.
Roberts’ Citizens United ruling led to the unrestricted intrusion into American politics of the anti-democracy Mercers. They funded Breitbart and its psychotic Bannon, then they installed him in the White House together with psychotic Donald Trump, whose path to the White House involved collusion with Russian sabotage.
Both Roberts and Gorsuch are, of course darlings of the far-eight Federalist Society, which released one of its officers on leave so that he could shepherd Gorsuch’s nomination.
The Federalist Society is attempting a full-scale retrofit of the American judiciary system, and Gorsuch will be its latest Supreme agent.
The Democrats must explain to the American public what they are trying to protect them from by fillibustering Gorsuch–namely, the culmination of a coup.
