McConnell mugged democracy and kneecapped Obama over the Supreme Court. But Obama still continued to capitulate. Last summer, McConnell made the ludicrous, feckless (except when dealing with Obama) threat to whine about partisanship if the then-President blew the whistle on Russian skullduggery. And somehow Obama again buckled under. Astonishing.
