Last winter I interviewed Michael Howard–director, acting teacher, and NOW AUTHOR–about his pupil Diana Sands. He taught her at the High School of Performing Arts in the early 1950s and then privately at his studio after she graduated.
An amazingly youthful 93 at the time, he’s now an amazingly youthful 94.
His new book, The Actor Uncovered, is full of wisdom and is a good read, a not-dogmatic survey of so many essential sites, sights, and sounds in the performer’s ecosystem.
