Whenever any bill is proposed that might actually benefit, support, protect the American people, McConnell dismisses it with one of the few test-driven adjectives that now make up the entire rhetorical platform of the GOP.

This avatar of slithering, desiccated malevolence is now prepared to block a vote on the emergency appropriations bill that the House will soon pass to combat corona virus.

And his caucus falls right in line. They prey on America.

If, somehow Biden does become president, he must not repeat Obama’s mistakes in believing that bipartisan initiatives are possible with the current GOP conference.

But the most fundamental reason he sounds like that is–he simply doesn’t care.

His insistence — ditto for sleaze James Carville — that this week’s Biden-Sanders debate be cancelled tells us how panicked the Democratic establishment is that Biden’s actual positions and record will be exposed.

that will result from Biden’s likely defeat by Trump is that it will definitively vanquish the corporate Democratic establishment. They will become pariahs.

Biden’s derelict, retrograde qualifications represent a regressive fight from reality–the kind we thought only the Republicans are capable of.

Their loyalty is only to Big Business, as they proved again today by blocking the Democrats’ emergency bill guaranteeing paid sick leave.

It’s wonderful that so many non-profit cultural institutions want to go into public schools
and conduct interactive arts exposure, but it simply cannot take the place of an integrated public school curriculum.

As our public school systems have jettisoned art, it becomes more and more peripheral to the consciousness of young people in this country.

I spoke to someone going to a community college in the suburbs:
a couple of years ago, he took an art class in high school that was near-collapse mid term when the school decided to phase it out. The teacher herself was determined to see the class to his conclusion at the end of the term.

He appreciated the creativity generated in the class and how it could enhance his learning experience across the board. But his friends didn’t. They didn’t know why he was taking it–what was the practical application?

How can his cult keep the faith?

When will their fever finally break?

Their president tells Americans with coronavius to go to work and things will all just work out?

For the sake of America, Trump must be quarantined.

Oh, and don’t worry, he’ll make a few “tweaks” in the system.
