the people who have brought the Democratic Party to this point will succeed in ramming through a Biden nomination,

and he will lose, as the Democratic base once more refuses to come out and vote

PARTICULARLY

if Biden goes ahead and chooses a Republican running mate

OR

Biden will somehow win and start cutting Social Security etc.
thus ensuring a GOP victory in 2024

OR

the Democratic establishment will relinquish its death grip and allow a future for the party.

Let us recall that by the end of Obama’s second term, the Democrats had lost virtually electoral advantage that they had to lose.

And these are the people who think they can continue to steer this party.

Obama does what he never should have done: intercedes in the Democratic primary process.

Obama was recently excoriated by Ralph Nader for refusing to participate in the way that he should be: in a refutation of Trump and the GOP.

When Obama chooses to engage, it is only to skew the primary process.

His animosity toward Sanders ALMOST approaches Trump’s enmity toward Obama.

The Democratic corporatocracy would rather Trump win re-election than allow a true progressive to be the nominee.

It is time, now, for what Obama has largely been able to evade so far: a thorough examination of how his presidency led America directly into the clutches of Trump.

We all know that Trump is terrified of his Democratic challengers, and will find any paranoid counter-reality narrative to get out of having to debate any one of them.

It’s been revolting watching “mainstream” media representatives just stand there and take it as the president debauches the American ideal of an independent media.

Trump must get called out to his face every time he launches into his Hitlerian attacks on the media.

He was slightly thrown when Bloomberg at the last debate mocked him for being a millionaire while identifying as a (Democratic) Socialist.

What Bernie should have said: Yes, and because I’m a Democratic Socialist I believe that all Americans should have equal opportunity to pursue their goals and succeed at them. They can’t do that, however, when they are chained down by debt, by corporate monopolies, by ever-spiraling health are costs, by the inappropriate intrusion of billionaires who don’t want to pay their fair of taxes into the public debate.

You and your fellow Republicans, Michael, want to enslave Americans by taking away their wages, their rights, their opportunities.

I, Bernie, am for a free and prosperous America.
