Sen. McConnell will, of course, completely reverse himself now that it’s a GOP judicial vacancy in play during an election year and demand a vote on Justice Kennedy’s successor before the election.
And when he does, the Dems have to do what they failed to do in 2016: GO TO THE MAT FOR JUSTICE.
Let the GOP concentrate on injustice.

I once temped for a couple of days for Justice Anthony Kennedy’s son at a Wall Street brokerage. This was in 2000, right after Kennedy and his disreputable brethen had engineered a judicial coup d’etat to ensure that George W. Bush was able to steal the presidency.
Justice Kennedy’s son was just as smug and entitled as you would imagine he’d be.
This is the culture of Anthony Kennedy and his fellow right-wing extremist elitists on the bench. This is the culture that has taken over the leadership of America.
I know that so many well-meaning people believe that Obama was a knight, or simply a victim of GOP baddies, but the reality is that Democrats must never again, given the savagery of today’s GOP, put forward a presidential candidate who is so acquiescent.
Look what his surrender to McConnell’s traitorous theft of the Supreme Court seat has engendered.
The only positive upshot is if the Dems finally make judicial selection and Constitutional obligation election issues.
Nothing could embolden Islamic terrorism more than an official policy of hate and religious discrimination.
And they can’t stand dissent from the electorate they screw over every single day.
So last night, when a small crowd got loud as the Majority Leader and the Transportation Secretary left some GOP event, reality intruded into their hermetically sealed bubble of detached elitism.
And they weren’t happy about it.

Telling Maxine Waters to quiet down amounts to condoning, or at least minimizing the full evil of what Donald Trump is doing to this country and the world.
