Were the Dems played yet again?
Their debt ceiling deal freed up the calendar for the GOP to resurrect ACA repeal.
As they continue negotiate ACA fixes with some Repubs, GOP bill to obliterate health care advances in the Senate.
Two words for the GOP:
Treasonous.
Genocidal.
Last week I called Rep. Gutierrez’s office to thank him for his denunciation of General Kelly’s betrayal of the Dreamers. The staffer said how much she appreciated my call “after the onslaught of hate calls we’ve gotten.” This, of course, is a hallmark of Fascism: the belief that the military is infallible, that it is an unpatriotic act ever to question the honesty, integrity, accuracy of a military official.
And so here we are: Trump’s selection of incompetent freaks to run our government has allowed the generals to look reassuring by comparison.
That is a big, big mistake.
