Lower rate of job growth than under Obama, but Obama’s economy was part smoke and mirrors, too–the jobs being created were/are minimum wage. The recent slight rise in wages does not compensate for decades of flat wages. America is not prosperous when half of the country lives paycheck to paycheck.
Any half competent Democratic candidate should have been able to challenge Trump on the economy even before the pandemic.
