There are few people less qualified to be part of any genuine news outlet’s programming than criminal liar Mick Mulvaney. He lied to Congress. He is without ethics or morality. He committed one defiant assault on the Constitution after another.
There are also few people who so vividly demonstrate that falling upward has become the American success story: Mulvaney screws up or degrades every job he takes.
CBS’s current leadership should be forced to resign for disgracing the network.
And the brass’s limp self-justification that Mulvaney’s hiring will allow “access,” indicts the blind alley that is “access journalism.” What it really is is co-option.
