DeSantis doesn’t have an original thought in his mind. His Trump Mini Me-cum-Napoleon gesticulations are as campy as they come. A few weeks ago he was making gratuitous swipes at France’s alleged unwillingness to defend itself militarily that sounded like recycled GOP tropes from 2003. Has Dum-Dum DeSantis read anything about World War II?
Similarly, his anti-gay hate bills are all predicated on a complete ignorance of human sexuality. Sexuality is not “groomed.” DeSantis either doesn’t know, or, more likely, couldn’t give a crap.
I’m always amazed when the media expresses surprise that an Ivy League graduate is dim. Why don’t they read William Dereseiwicz’s “Excellent Sheep” and get hip to the fact that it’s perfectly possible to score Ivy League degrees while doing a minimum of actual thinking.
