THIS IS WHAT NYC “AFFORDABLE” HOUSING COSTS

The city is demanding an annual income of at least $70,00 per year to qualify for a new “affordable” housing opportunity in Brooklyn.

Other “affordable housing” buildings are demanding minimum incomes of over $100,000 yearly. And applicants are permitted to earn over $200,000 a year and still qualify.

Affordable housing for the lowest rungs of the one percent–that is overwhelmingly what DeBlasio’ and Adams’ housing scam has wrought in Manhattan. And it has come at the expense of now-demolished low-rise housing that was much more accessible.
