Trump’s rise itself demonstrates the sovereignty of mediocrity and corruption in this country. Naturally he surrounds himself with birds of a feather. It would be hard to find more unqualified, undistinguished, morally and ethically suspect emissaries than Vance, Witkoff, and Kushner. What Trump is doing is preemptively sandbagging the negotiations.
