PARIS IS FOR (BALLET) LOVERS

A friend in Paris tells me that the Osipenko book is nicely visible at Galignani’s, the great old bookstore on the Rue de Rivoli. Give or take a century, the store’s almost as venerable  as the Academie Royale de Danse. Fitting that the book is there because so much of it does take place in Paris itself. . . .
