The extraordinary phlegmatic weakness of Obama and his caucus allowed Scalia’s Supreme Court seat to be stolen, as they allowed a backlog of judicial vacancies to pile up. Now the Federalist Society extremists are licking their chops.
It looks as if the Democrats may once again turn tail, once again mewling out keep-your-powder-dry defeatism. All I can say is, no Democratic Senator who votes for Gorsuch will avoid a primary challenger.
And let the GOP abolish the filibuster–let them show the country what they are.
